Providing for those with support needs in Worcester
Collaborating with Worcestershire County Council and Blue Square Residential, Safe As Houses Care are pleased to update on progress of a high quality, futureproofed development in the heart of Worcester.
Currently the conversion of a former hotel is taking place into 10 x 1-bedroom self-contained apartments ranging from 40.1sqm to 60.3sqm. This strategic development will form part of the housing pathway for those with mental health needs and / or Autism who may require step-up or step-down services.
The design is focused on supporting individuals to live as independently as possible and the central location provides easy access to local amenities. The service will contribute to the local job market and promote integration into the community.
With the end of the development currently scheduled for January 2022, Safe As Houses Care Business Development Manager, Steph Elliott said; “This development is set in a lovely area of Worcester. Safe As Houses Care are really excited that it will give service users who need a step up in life the opportunity to have just that. This is hugely important for us as a company and also for me, with my background in Social Care.”
Safe As Houses Care will be at the Dementia, Care & Nursing home Expo on the 15 - 16 September 2021 at The NEC Birmingham, Stand B42.
