Hilary Woodhead is the Executive Director of the National Activity Providers Association (NAPA), she joined the organisation in 2019. She leads the organisation and oversees all aspects of the charities work, her sole focus is on championing excellence in activity, arts and engagement, the wellbeing of those who use care support services and the professional development of the activity workforce.
She is a national and international speaker and facilitator and has extensive knowledge and expertise across a wide range of care, support and NHS services. Prior to joining NAPA, she was the Co-Director of Support In Dementia (SiD), a Dementia specialist support agency providing project management and staff development programmes across the health, housing and social care sector. She has a BA (Hons) in The Arts (Drama) and MA in Social Work (Social Care Management), she is also a qualified adult learning facilitator with a special interest in Dementia, the Arts and the concept of wellbeing. In her spare time, she enjoys Interior Design, Musicals and Dachshunds. She lives in Brighton with her partner. She has 3 children, a dog, a cat and a tortoise.
