Tariq Raja is Foundation Manager at CareTech Charitable Foundation, an independent grant-making corporate foundation, funded and founded by CareTech Holdings Limited. Its mission is to support and champion the social care sector, care workers and those living in care in the UK and overseas by:
• supporting disabled people and those with long-term health difficulties, including those with mental health conditions and complex physical and learning disabilities.
• skills development for those from deprived and disadvantaged backgrounds for careers in the care sector.
• supporting the family and friends of CareTech employees facing significant financial challenges as well as issues facing local communities.

In this session, Tariq will discuss the approach taken by the Foundation in contributing to and delivering meaningful impact and change to social care through the corporate foundation model.
