Skills for Care, the strategic workforce development body for England, is spearheading the creation of a much-needed workforce strategy for adult social care to help the sector in build the workforce it needs for the future. Oonagh Smyth, CEO of Skills for Care, is co-chairing the strategy steering group, where representatives from across the sector are collaborating to develop the strategy.
