UK Care week attendees can benefit from a variety of training sessions which will be held at co-located event the Alzheimer's & Dementia Show.

The Alzheimer's & Dementia Show is the only event in the UK providing professionals with a unique opportunity to access individual dedicated training provided by our partner Training2Care. Details about the sessions are below.

Virtual Dementia Tour

The Virtual Dementia Tour is the only scientifically and medically proven method of giving a person with a healthy brain an experience of what dementia might be like. Created in America by professor PK Beville and experienced by over 5 million people in 25 countries.

The Dementia Interpreters Workshop is all about understanding the 'Language of Dementia' and recognising that people with dementia will change to a new, universal language as their way to communicate.

DIET, Dining Immersive Experiential Training

Dining Immersive Experiential Training (DIET) is a life adjusting course that is a must for anyone that works or supports people that have dementia. Launched in February 2024, this experiential course transports you to understanding how to overcome the challenges faced by people that have dementia around mealtimes.
